FOOTEDBYREESEY is not a shop with a back room full of machines. It is one artist, a studio in Atlanta, and the stubborn belief that your shoes deserve better than a quick wipe and a spray of deodorizer.
How this started
FOOTEDBYREESEY officially started in 2017 when I began reselling sneakers, but my love for shoes goes back much further than that.
Growing up as a hooper, sneakers were always part of the lifestyle. I was into shoes before I ever thought about turning that passion into a business - all the way back to the early Nike iD days, when getting to design your own pair felt like a big deal.
When I started reselling, I would come across pre-owned pairs that needed a little work before I could sell them. A cleaning here, some color brought back there, fixing the details that made a worn pair look worn. That’s where restoration started for me.
At the time, I wasn’t thinking about building a restoration business. I was simply learning how to take care of sneakers and bring them back to a condition I was proud to put my name behind.
Over time, that skill turned into FOOTEDBYREESEY as it exists today - a sneaker cleaning and restoration studio built around giving people another option before replacing a pair they already love.
Because sometimes it’s a pair you’ve had for years and can’t replace. Sometimes you spent good money on them and aren’t ready to let them go. And sometimes you just want to put your shoes on and feel fresh again.
Whatever brings a pair through my door, I treat it like something worth taking care of.
That’s what FOOTEDBYREESEY is about.

How I work
- One artist, start to finish. The person who quotes your pair is the person who cleans, ices and details it.
- Honest quotes, always. You see photos, you approve the price, and no work starts before you say so.
- Restoration, not magic. If something is permanent, I tell you before you pay, not after.
- Materials first. Every product I use is chosen for your shoe's material, not for speed.
The studio
Based in Atlanta, with Metro drop-off points in Decatur and Powder Springs, and mail-in service for the rest of the U.S. Every pair is touched by hands from start to finish, and the service only takes on what can be done properly. Taking on less is deliberate: it is the only way every pair leaves right.
