FOOTEDBYREESEY LLC

Terms of service.

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern all cleaning, restoration, repair, customization and related services provided by FOOTEDBYREESEY LLC, a Georgia limited liability company (“FootedByReesey,” “FBR,” “we,” “us” or “our”). By submitting a service request, approving a quote, accepting these Terms, paying a deposit, or leaving or mailing an item to us, you agree to these Terms.

Please read these Terms before approving service. Your approved quote and any written project-specific terms are incorporated into these Terms.

1. Customer eligibility and authority

You represent that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and that you own the submitted item or are authorized by its owner to request service. You are responsible for providing accurate contact, ownership, value and condition information.

2. Service requests, inspections and quotes

A website submission is a request for review, not an automatic appointment or acceptance of a project. Photographs help us provide an initial assessment but may not reveal every material or structural condition.

Listed prices are starting prices unless expressly stated otherwise. After reviewing the submitted information, FBR will confirm the recommended service, final quote, required deposit, estimated turnaround and delivery method. We may revise a quote after physical inspection if the actual condition differs materially from the photographs or description.

No additional work or charge outside the approved scope will be performed without your written approval. FBR may decline or stop a project that appears unsafe, unlawful, unrealistic, outside our capabilities or likely to cause unreasonable damage.

3. Services and approved scope

Services may include deep cleaning, sole icing, lace replacement, odor treatment, suede or nubuck care, paint touch-ups, repainting, re-gluing, sole swaps, purse cleaning or restoration, custom designs and other quoted specialty work.

Only the services stated in the approved quote are included. For example, a deep clean does not automatically include stain removal, sole icing, repainting, re-gluing, structural repair, replacement parts or customization.

4. Restoration limitations and no factory-new guarantee

Restoration is not replacement. We aim to improve appearance, cleanliness and usable condition, but we do not guarantee that an item will look new, match its original factory condition, regain original strength, or achieve an exact color, sheen or texture match.

Stains, odors, yellowing, oxidation, discoloration, cracking, peeling, warping, fading, dye transfer, material loss and other wear may be permanent or only partially improved. Before-and-after photographs and prior results are examples only; every item ages and responds differently.

5. Preexisting, hidden and age-related damage

Cleaning or restoration may reveal or accelerate damage that already exists but is not visible, including weakened adhesive, brittle foam, dry leather, cracking, separation, delamination, hydrolysis, color instability, previous paint or filler, weakened stitching, counterfeit components or replacement materials.

Vintage, heavily worn, water-damaged, improperly stored or previously repaired items carry increased risk. If an unsafe or unstable condition is discovered, we may pause or stop work and contact you when practical. Charges may still apply for completed labor, used materials, ordered parts and diagnostic work.

6. Service-specific risks

Cleaning, stains and odor treatment. Complete stain or odor removal is not guaranteed. Water, cleaners, heat, agitation and extraction may cause bleeding, shrinkage, texture change, watermarking, fading or adhesive release, especially on suede, nubuck, satin, mesh, canvas, aged leather and mixed materials.

Sole icing and oxidation treatment. Sole icing may improve yellowing, but results vary. Oxidation may return, whitening may be uneven, and treatment may expose brittleness, separation or earlier damage. Icing is cosmetic and does not restore structural strength.

Paint, dye and color work. Exact factory color, finish and aging cannot be guaranteed. Paint or dye may wear, fade, transfer or crack from flexing, abrasion, heat, moisture or continued use. Touch-ups may remain visible in certain lighting.

Re-gluing, sole swaps and structural work. Repairs depend on the condition and compatibility of the original footwear and donor parts. Adhesive or foam failure may recur. Donor parts may vary in age, fit, color, wear or composition. Repaired footwear is not guaranteed for athletic, safety-critical or performance use unless expressly stated in writing.

Custom work. Custom work is handmade and may contain minor variations. You must approve the design, colors, placement and quote before work begins. You represent that customer-supplied artwork, names, logos and designs may lawfully be used.

7. Customer-supplied items and donor parts

You are responsible for the ownership, authenticity, disclosed value, condition and compatibility of footwear, purses, replacement parts, donor soles, laces, accessories and materials you provide. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, unused donor parts and removed components will be returned when reasonably practical.

8. Deposits, cancellations, balances and refunds

A 50% deposit is required for all accepted services before drop-off, shipment or work begins. The deposit reserves production time and is nonrefundable except when FBR declines the project before work begins or agrees otherwise in writing.

If you cancel after work begins, you are responsible for completed labor, used materials, noncancelable purchases and any shipping charges. The remaining balance and all approved additional charges must be paid before the item is released or return-shipped.

Completed labor and used materials are not refundable merely because the result differs from a subjective expectation when the approved work was completed within the scope and limitations disclosed in these Terms. Nothing in this section limits a legal right or remedy that cannot be waived.

9. Turnaround and rush service

Standard turnaround is approximately 5-10 business days and begins only after the quote is approved, these Terms are accepted, the required deposit is paid and FBR physically receives the item. Complex restoration, custom work, sole icing, drying, curing, material sourcing, customer response time and unexpected conditions may extend completion. Turnaround estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

  • 48-hour rush service: additional $30.
  • 72-hour rush service: additional $20.

Rush service must be approved before payment and may not be available for every project. A rush deadline does not require unsafe shortcuts. If FBR determines that an approved rush deadline cannot be met, the rush fee will be refunded and the service will continue under the standard timeline unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.

10. Drop-off and pickup locations

Metro Atlanta drop-off and pickup locations, their addresses and their opening hours are published on the booking form, and you choose one when you book. Items are left in and collected from a numbered locker; the locker number and the code that opens it are provided after the project is accepted and the required deposit is paid, and codes are changed between customers. Locations are operated by third-party partners and their hours may vary. The schedule on which FBR collects from and returns to each location is stated for that location on the booking form, and it differs between locations. The turnaround stated in section 5 runs from collection rather than from the moment you leave an item. Do not leave an item at a location before receiving confirmation and drop-off instructions.

You must package, label and tag each item as instructed. Partner-location receipt does not begin the service timeline; the timeline begins when FBR physically receives and logs the item. Transfers will be documented when reasonably practical. Nothing in these Terms releases FBR or a partner from responsibility imposed by applicable law for loss or damage caused by its own conduct.

11. Mail-in service and shipping

Book first and ship second. Do not mail an item until you receive project approval, an order reference, the shipping address and packing instructions. Mail-in service is limited to United States addresses unless approved otherwise in writing.

You are responsible for inbound shipping, secure packaging and a trackable shipping method. Insurance for the documented replacement value and signature confirmation are strongly recommended, particularly for high-value items.

The customer pays shipping in both directions. Inbound shipping to FBR is arranged and paid for by the customer. Return shipping is charged at cost, with no markup, and is added to the final invoice; the amount appears on that invoice before payment. Items are returned only after the final invoice, covering the service and return shipping, has been paid in full. Insurance, signature confirmation and special handling are available and are charged at cost. A customer may instead provide their own prepaid return label.

Shipping carriers are independent third parties. Carrier loss, delay or damage is governed by the carrier’s rules and any purchased insurance. FBR will reasonably assist with a properly documented outbound claim. Risk transfers according to applicable law and the carrier’s accepted-shipment records; this section does not excuse loss or damage caused by FBR before carrier acceptance.

12. Completion, inspection and service concerns

Inspect your item promptly at pickup or delivery. Any concern related to the approved service must be reported to footedbyreesey@gmail.com within 48 hours after pickup or confirmed delivery and must include the customer name, order information, a description of the concern and clear photographs.

FBR must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and, when appropriate, correct a service-related issue before outside work is performed. Ordinary wear, new damage, misuse, improper cleaning or storage, weather exposure, athletic use, third-party work and failures unrelated to the approved service are not service defects. The 48-hour reporting period does not eliminate any legal right that cannot be limited.

13. Pickup, storage fees and unclaimed items

Completed items must be picked up within 14 calendar days after the first ready-for-pickup notice. Beginning on day 15, a storage fee of $10 per week, or any portion of a week, will be added. FBR may withhold release until the service balance and accrued storage fees are paid, to the extent permitted by law.

FBR will make reasonable attempts to contact you using the information supplied at booking. An item remaining unclaimed 60 calendar days after the first ready-for-pickup notice will be classified as unclaimed. It will then be stored, returned, donated, sold, discarded or otherwise handled only after any additional notice, waiting period or procedure required by applicable law. The customer remains responsible for unpaid service, shipping and storage charges to the extent permitted by law.

14. Photographs and marketing

FBR may privately photograph items before, during and after service for condition documentation, quality control, quote support, business records and dispute handling. Operational photographs will not publicly identify you unless permitted or legally required.

By booking a service you also agree that FBR may photograph or film your item and use those images of the item for social media, advertising, portfolio and other marketing. Marketing images show the item only. Your name, contact details and any other information that would identify you are never published alongside them.

You can opt out at any time, including after the work is finished. Write to footedbyreesey@gmail.com and your item will not be used, or will be removed from anything FBR controls. Opting out will not affect your service, your turnaround or your price.

15. Electronic communications and approvals

You consent to transactional emails and text messages reasonably necessary to administer requests, quotes, approvals, invoices, status updates, pickup and shipping. Message and data rates may apply. Written approvals provided through the website, email, text, invoice system or electronic form may be relied upon as authorization for the project.

16. Payments and privacy

Payments are processed through the website or another payment method identified on the approved invoice. Available methods may include major credit or debit cards and Klarna when displayed at checkout. Third-party payment providers process payment details under their own terms and privacy notices. FBR does not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers on its website.

Personal information is collected and used to review requests, provide services, process payments, coordinate pickup and shipping, communicate with customers, maintain records, prevent fraud and comply with law. Additional details are provided in the FootedByReesey Privacy Notice posted on the website.

16A. Monthly plans (recurring billing)

Monthly plans are a subscription. By starting one you agree to the following. These terms exist because recurring charges need to be stated plainly before they begin, not discovered afterwards.

16B. Welcome offer

  • The offer. $10 off your first booking with FBR, any service. Codes claimed from the Spa Wags page are $15 off a first Reesey Refresh or Reesey Revive. Codes issued to registered SpringSide residents are $15 off a first Reesey Refresh, Reesey Revive or Reesey Refresh for Handbags (see 16C).
  • Spa Wags and SpringSide resident codes. These apply to the Reesey Refresh or the Reesey Revive, and SpringSide resident codes also apply to the Reesey Refresh for Handbags. They do not apply to the Reesey Restore, Designer Refresh, custom work, specialty-only bookings or monthly plans, and Spa Wags codes do not apply to the Reesey Refresh for Handbags.
  • One per customer. One code per person and email address, for one booking. It cannot be used on a booking made before the code was issued.
  • Expiry. Each code expires 72 hours after it is sent, at the time stated in the email.
  • How it is applied. Enter the code on the booking form. It is applied to your deposit invoice once your quote is confirmed. If inspection shows your pair needs a different service, the code is not applied to that booking and stays valid until it expires.
  • Combining. The code cannot be combined with the 3-pair bundle, a monthly plan or any other offer. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
  • Changes. FBR may change or end this offer at any time. Codes already issued are honored on the terms stated in the email they were sent with.

16C. Resident offers

  • The offer. Residents of a partner property, currently SpringSide in Powder Springs, get $15 off their first booking with FBR on a Reesey Refresh, Reesey Revive or Reesey Refresh for Handbags, and 15% off every booking after that, on any service.
  • Repeat bookings. Once registered on the resident page, every later booking made with the same email is 15% off the booking total, taken off the deposit invoice automatically. A resident who has booked with FBR before can register for the 15% without a first-booking code.
  • Your own code. Each resident claims a personal code on the property's resident page with their name, unit number and email. It applies only to a booking made with the email address it was claimed with, and it cannot be transferred.
  • Limits. One first-booking code per person and email address, for one booking. Each unit may register a limited number of residents. The first-booking code cannot be used by anyone who has booked with FBR before.
  • Book by date. Book within 7 days of claiming your code, by the date shown when you claim it. A booking made by that date keeps the discount even if your quote is confirmed later.
  • How it is applied. The code comes off your deposit invoice once your quote is confirmed. It cannot be combined with the 3-pair bundle, a monthly plan, a welcome code or any other offer, and it has no cash value.
  • Residents only. FBR may decline a code that was claimed by someone who does not live at the property. FBR may change or end this offer at any time; codes already claimed are honored until they expire.

17. Warranty disclaimer and responsibility

Except for any written workmanship commitment included in a quote, services are provided according to the approved scope and the disclosed limitations in these Terms. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FBR does not make additional warranties concerning an exact restoration result, durability, resale value, fitness for a particular use or future performance.

Each party remains responsible for loss or damage caused by its own conduct as determined under applicable law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FBR is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses such as sentimental value, loss of use, missed events, lost resale opportunities or expected profits. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.

18. Events outside reasonable control

FBR is not responsible for delay caused by events outside its reasonable control, including carrier interruption, severe weather, utility or internet failure, supply shortage, government action, illness, emergency, fire, theft despite reasonable precautions or closure of a partner location. Reasonable notice and options will be provided when practical.

19. Disputes and Georgia law

Before filing a formal claim, you and FBR agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the concern through written notice describing the issue and requested resolution. These Terms are governed by Georgia law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any proceeding that is not resolved informally may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.

20. Changes, severability and complete agreement

The version accepted for a particular project governs that project unless the parties agree otherwise in writing. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms, the approved quote and any written project-specific approval form the complete agreement for the service and replace earlier discussions about that project. Express project-specific written terms control if they conflict with these general Terms.
